Scenes From The Celine Day Sail Thursday November 3, 2011

A Day sail with Neil Roebert is always the highlight of my trips to St. Martin. This year it was no different. We originally planned to go on the fun sail on a Friday, but Neil called us a day or two before and said that was getting very booked and invited us to tag along with another group for a more private day sails to Tintemarre.

The seas were very calm all day, a slight overcast cloud cover for much of the morning made it comfortable and no one appeared to get too sunburned.  We had a wonderful day at the beach and sail back to St. Martin.

The food is something to die for. Neil's mastery of the culinary arts is getting better each year and this year he surpassed himself. Doug told folks proudly at the end of the day at Skip Jacks that easily the best meal he had on the island, including the exclusive restaurants in Grand Case and Marigot was the meal we shared on Neil's boat. That about sums up what you can expect for everything else that day as well.

For any one considering a day sail with Neil these photos are representative of the quality of the food and the scenery along the route. Hope you make contact with Neil and consider chartering his boat. Neil's own web site is located at http:\\www.sailstmaarten.com.  Call him at 011-599-526-1170 or email him at Neil@caribserve.net
